Artist Statement
This is my hand-color image. I chose different highlighted sections in the photo that stood out and decided to color them. I contrasted the purple ground with the yellow window to make it stick out. Also, I added a fade effect to both sections to create movement in my photo.
This is my vignette image. I developed this photo by spraying the developer with a spray bottle instead of fully submerging it to get the spotted effect. I love how the speckles and vintage creating darker areas set an eerie mood in the photo.
This is my tone image. I used a photo filter in Adobe photoshop to create the purple color and then added some highlights around the figure to emphasize it. I love how the figure is illuminated, yet there is no color to it. This creates the feeling of the figure being in the shadows.
